Wednesday - October 14

Yesterday Michael still felt pretty rough, but perked up last night for a couple of hours. He sat at the table with me while I had dinner and celebrated how a meeting with some potential funders went well. He is just eating a few small smoothies per day. He is still miserable. Ironically, he had nausea but no vomiting from the chemo but this thickened mucus side effect from the radiation that makes him gag has led to throwing up too. It is still weird that food sounds good and looks good, but he can't eat any of it. We are just working on smoothies so he can get the antimucus and magnesium pills down. Apparently lots of people have this level of side effects by week 4, not week 6-7, so still counting our blessings. Radiation 32 of 35 is today.
